How is this rider ever going to pay this amount?

Had LTA  not made auto insurance compulsory? I don’t think many can afford to drive in Singapore considering the cases and frequency of auto related accidents causing bodily injury and property damage.

Ensure you have a comprehensive PA coverage! In this case, the victim suffered the injuries but if the rider is unable to pay, no amount of damages awarded by the judge will mean anything to the victim and family, especially if they are totally dependent on the monies for treatment.
